Lake Eastland

Lake Eastland is a man-made reservoir located in both Eastland and Stephens counties in the state of Texas, USA. It was created in 1928 by damming the Leon River. The lake covers an area of 1,100 acres (450 ha) and has a maximum depth of 67 feet (20 m). It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping, with several public parks and boat ramps available. The lake is stocked with largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish. It is also home to a variety of bird species such as bald eagles, ospreys, and great blue herons.
